Samizu Matsuki www.samizu.com is a Japanese oil painter and drawing artist, born on Hokkaido in 1936. Presently, 2010, she is living in Rockland Maine, USA. This is her diary in 1976, when she was living in New York City making a living as an artist among interesting Greenwich villagers and Long Island New York socialites, and the UN social world, and the reality of art in New York at that time. Writing in red is when Samizu is intoxicated.
